CNTIC and CMC Awarded in Host Countries

With the coming of spring, sport games are kicking off around the world. On the pitch, best athletes fight for the championship.

In the field of renewable energy, two teams from Genertec CNTIC and Genertec CMC are competing for the title of best team.

VE IVOVIK d.o.o Sarajevo Company, jointly invested by CNTIC and POWERCHINA, was awarded the “Most Significant Foreign Investor 2022” in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This is the first time a Chinese company has won this honor.

VE IVOVIK d.o.o Sarajevo project is the first new energy project on the Outcome List of China-CEEC Summit to start construction. It will become the largest new energy power generation project in Bosnia and Herzegovina when completed.

It is also the first new energy project undertaken by a Chinese enterprise in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Likewise, CMC Europe (Italy) has won the Top Investor award in Italy. The award will help to expand the market influence of the CMC brand in Italy. In 2022, CMC Europe (Italy) and Ikarus S.r.l., a subsidiary of France G É N É RALE DU SOLAIRE (GDS) Group, signed the EPC contract for Manduria 7MW photovoltaic power station project located in Italy. When the project is completed, its annual power generation is expected to reach 11.6 GWh, equivalent to saving 2,755 tonnes of standard coal and reducing 7,540 tonnes of CO₂ emissions.  

Both teams have won top awards in their host countries for their sustainable projects.
