2X1000MW ultra-supercritical coal-fired power station in Indonesia put into commercial operation

The 2×1000MW ultra-supercritical coal-fired power station in Central Java province of Indonesia, of which Genertec’s energy arm participated in construction, entered commercial operation stage on September 1. The unit 1 generator set was put into commercial operation on August 16 and obtained a certificate for overall commercial operation issued by the project owner, allowing the two generator sets to enter full commercial operation stage starting from September 1, 2022. The project is a move the company took to advance cooperation in a third-party market, while giving full play to distinctive advantages of businesses in different countries. It was included in the case study of cooperation in products and services in third-party market compiled by China’s National Development and Reform Commission. The contract value of the project is around $600 million. The obtaining of the certificate for commercial operation symbolized successful completion of project construction.  

Based on the Central Java project, the company will continue enhancing its foothold in the high-end construction market in Southeast Asia so as to devote greater contributions to the Genertec’s efforts of going global in the engineering sector.
