CMC Passes the Annual Dependable Capacity Test in Bangladesh

Genertec CMC kicks off with a good start in Bangladesh at the beginning of 2023. The two units of Payra 1320 MW Thermal Power Plant in Bangladesh have successfully passed the annual dependable capacity test (DCT) at first attempt.

The two units with a capacity of 660MW each are the largest generating units in use in Bangladesh. The purpose of this test is to verify its key performances including net export generation, unit stability and load response.

Thereafter, our CMC team will keep doing a good job in power supply to release the pressure of local power shortage. More importantly, the power plant will continue to supply reliable electricity to the people in Payra, Bangladesh.
