Genertec International Launches Car Products in Kazakhstan

Genertec International entered the faraway Kazakh market in 2014. Now, after a decade, it returned to Kazakhstan for an exciting launch event.

On May 10, the SAIC MG product launch event, undertaken by the subsidiary of Genertec Vehicles (a business unit of Genertec International) in Kazakhstan, was successfully held in Almaty, the largest city of Kazakhstan, where several key models were showcased and more than 200 guests were present, making it a high-profile event on the day in Kazakhstan. This launch event is an important milestone for Genertec International in the automotive sector and marks the debut of SAIC MG in the Kazakh market.

Key products such as MG5, MG6, MG ZS, MULAN, and CYBERSTER were unveiled at the event.

The Kazakh subsidiary facilitating SAIC’s entry into the Russian-speaking market

The subsidiary of Genertec Vehicles in Kazakhstan, as the general dealer of MG in the country, played an important role in this overseas development of the Chinese brand.

The subsidiary of Genertec Vehicles in Kazakhstan (Kazakh subsidiary) is established in Almaty, Kazakhstan to provide overseas development services for automobile manufacturers in China. As a licensed institution for dealer authorization and related model certification, the Kazakh subsidiary makes building an international platform for overseas dealerships and empowering Chinese brands to go global its vision and uses its fully localized talent team to provide comprehensive services, such as product certification, policy and regulation consulting, logistics and warehousing, marketing, network development, after-sales service, and automobile finance, for related projects.

The Kazakh subsidiary has signed authorized dealership agreements for the SAIC MG and Maxus brands in Kazakhstan, which involve services in the Russian and Belarusian markets for vehicle distribution, promotion, and after-sales services. Utilizing Genertec International’s resources and channel advantages in the Russian-speaking market over the years, the Kazakh subsidiary has facilitated SAIC Motor’s successful entry into new markets such as Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan, where a distribution network of 30 outlets was established and nearly 1,000 MG cars were sold in 2023.

Allur Group, controlled by Genertec International, is the largest automobile dealer group in Kazakhstan and plays an indispensable role in the local industry. It has laid a solid foundation for Genertec International’s continuous development in Kazakhstan.

Since controlled by Genertec International in 2019, Allur Group has entered a stage of high-quality growth, become the largest automobile factory in Kazakhstan, and achieved significant year-on-year growth in production and sales by integrating policy, technology, and capital advantages. With production and sales reaching nearly 100,000 units in 2023, Allur Group has become the largest automobile production and assembly enterprise in Kazakhstan, producing more than 50% of the country’s vehicles and maintaining a market share of more than 40% for years.

The year 2023 marked an important year of robust growth of Chinese automobile brands in Kazakhstan. With help from Genertec Vehicles, Allur Group has successfully introduced Chinese brands such as Jetour and Hongqi, and it is actively introducing high-end new energy vehicle brands to continuously expand its business and cultivate new growth points.

The development of the automobile industry has offered a strong impetus for Kazakhstan’s GDP growth. In the future, Genertec International will continue to strengthen communication and cooperation with the Kazakh government, to contribute to the Kazakh automobile industry, meet the needs of local consumers with flexible and customized solutions, and provide better products and services.

The work group also paid an official call to Zhang Xiao, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Kazakhstan, during this visit to Kazakhstan. During the exchange, Genertec International President Gao Zhan expressed gratitude for the Embassy and the Economic and Commercial Office’s long-term care and support for Genertec International, Ambassador Zhang Xiao highly affirmed the achievements of Genertec International’s business in Kazakhstan, and both sides exchanged views on Kazakhstan’s conditions and current development as well as Genertec International’s future business development and promotion.
