Liu Xu, Chief Economist of Genertec International, Attended the Centralized Groundbreaking and Grid Connection Ceremony for Key Energy Projects in Uzbekistan

On December 13, Liu Xu, Chief Economist of Genertec International, traveled to Uzbekistan to attend the centralized groundbreaking and grid connection ceremony for key energy projects. Mirziyoyev, President of Uzbekistan, attended the ceremony and delivered a speech, highly appreciating China’s contributions to the transformation of Uzbekistan’s energy structure as well as its economic and social development. The 100MW cogeneration investment project team in Tashkent participated in the ceremony via a live link.

Liu Xu stated that Genertec International is eager to seize the opportunity to enter a new stage of high-quality development through the Belt and Road Initiative in order to actively accelerate its development pace in various fields in Uzbekistan, fully promote the first energy investment project in Uzbekistan, effectively facilitate Uzbekistan’s green energy transformation, and better benefit the people of Uzbekistan.

The ceremony was attended by Uzbekistan’s Minister of Energy, the UAE’s Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, the UAE’s Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, the Saudi Arabian Minister of Energy, the Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, and representatives from relevant investors. Relevant personnel from Genertec CNTIC VPower, Genertec Central Asia, and Genertec Engineering Design accompanied the participants in the aforementioned activities.
