Genertec CMC’s First 181,000DWT Bulk Carrier Destined for Export to Germany Successfully Launched

　　The first 181,000DWT Bulk Carrier (HN2017), contracted between China National Machinery Import & Export Corporation under China General Technology (Group) Holding Co., Ltd. (“Genertec CMC”) and Hengli Shipbuilding (Dalian) Co., Ltd. and destined for export to German shipowner H.Vogemann, was successfully launched on June 9, signifying a crucial milestone for the project.

　　As the largest-tonnage export vessel project ever undertaken by CMC in its history, this initiative has seen the project team, in collaboration with Hengli Shipbuilding (Dalian) Co., Ltd., successfully address the initial challenges arising from the first vessel of a new ship model at a new shipyard since the project’s commencement in 2024. The smooth launch has laid a sound foundation for subsequent shipbuilding and delivery.
