Pabna 64MW Solar Park Connected to Grid in Bangladesh

　　On July 30, 2025, the Pabna 64MW Solar Park achieved full-capacity grid connection and commenced commercial power generation. It is an Investment-Construction-Operation project developed by the China National Machinery Import & Export Corporation (hereinafter referred to as the “CMC”. This milestone marks the completion of Phase II of Bangladesh’s largest new energy project cluster: the 500MW New Energy Program. With this achievement, the CMC’s cumulative installed photovoltaic capacity in Bangladesh has exceeded 164.4 MWp, establishing a new national benchmark for Chinese enterprises in the Bangladeshi solar energy sector. The project further demonstrates the CMC’s comprehensive capabilities in investment, construction, and operation for new energy projects in the region. It also signifies the continued deepening of China-Bangladesh cooperation in the field of new energy.
