First Wind Turbine Blade Delivered to Site for Black Peak 150 MW Wind Power Project in Serbia

On December 29, the first wind turbine blade for the Black Peak Wind Power Project in Serbia was successfully delivered to its designated position on site, marking a record-breaking achievement in local blade transportation and paving the way for subsequent wind turbine installation.

As a key component of the wind turbine, this blade measures approximately 84.5 meters in length and weighs 27.8 tons. Despite multiple challenges, including demanding technical requirements for transportation, limited logistics resources, and complex mountainous terrain, the project team overcame critical technical bottlenecks in the transportation and lifting of ultra-long blades following several on-site surveys and rigorous evaluations of transport solutions. These efforts resulted in a safe, reliable, and highly operable transport solution, creating a dedicated route for wind turbine blades through steep cliffs. This demonstrated the teams strong sense of responsibility, professional execution, and excellent teamwork in overcoming difficulties.

In the next phase, the project team will optimize follow-up operations to perform blade transportation and wind turbine installation in a safe, reliable, and efficient manner, so as to accelerate the project toward grid-connected power generation.
