Kang Hubiao Attends 2026 Enlarged Meeting of the Chinese Secretariat of the BRICS Business Council

On March 5, the 2026 Enlarged Meeting of the Chinese Secretariat of the BRICS Business Council was held in Beijing. Kang Hubiao, Chairman of Genertec International, was invited to attend the meeting as Deputy Secretary-General of the Chinese Chapter of the BRICS Business Council and Chair of the Trade and Investment Working Group.

At the meeting, the Chinese Secretariat announced the annual work plan. Member institutions and institutions of working group leaders exchanged views on annual work progress and future work plans. The Department of International Economic Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China highly commended the achievements of the Chinese Chapter. It requested member institutions to thoroughly implement the spirit of the BRICS Summit, act on the "Four Global Initiatives", strengthen work planning with a holistic vision, enhance coordination and collaboration, and jointly contribute more to greater BRICS cooperation.
