The distributed PV power generation project at Beijing Precision Machinery & Engineering Research Co., Ltd. is invested, constructed and operated by Genertec CNTIC. The completion and operation of the project will enable Beijing Precision Machinery & Engineering Research Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Genertec, to increase its utilization rate of renewable energy, upgradeGenertec’s green development drive to a new level, and build up a new pattern of green development at a faster pace. In the meanwhile, it represents how Genertec CNTIC is acting upon the national strategy of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality and contributing to the implementation of China’s “dual circulation” strategy.

Designed to generate electricity for in-house use and send remaining electricity to the power grid, the project was connected to the grid in late 2021. With a planned operation period of 25 years, the project is expected to generate 42.57 million kWh of electricity in total. On average, it is capable of providing 1.7 million kWh of clean electricity every year, saving 681.09 tons of standard coal and reducing 51.08 tons of SO₂ emissions and 25.54 tons of NO₂ emissions. In addition, in line with the 2019 baseline emission factors for regional power grids released by China’s National Development and Reform Commission, construction of the project can reduce around 1,603.81 tons of carbon emissions every year.
